Services and Support

Our model maker, Petr Machát, is available to assist and advise on model production. You can consult him about production methods, technologies, and suitable materials.

Machinery and Equipment

• 3D Printer: Available with staff assistance only. Capable of printing models from plastics.
• Laser Cutter: Available with staff assistance only. Can cut paper materials, plywood, and acrylic glass.
• CNC Milling Machine: Available with staff assistance only. Can cut plastics and wood.
• Vacuum Forming Machine: Available with staff assistance only. Can vacuum form plastic materials.
• Band Saw: Available with staff assistance only. Can cut wood, polystyrene, and plastics (metal materials are not allowed).
• Disc Sanders: Can sand polystyrene, wood, and plastics when connected to a dust extraction system (not metals).
• Lever Shears: Can format cardboard and plastic sheets (not metals).
• Drill Press: For drilling wood, plastic, and metal.
• Resistance Wire (Hot Wire Cutters): For cutting polystyrene only.

Preparing for Production

• Design Preparation: Prepare detailed designs or drawings of your model, including dimensions and material specifications.
• Material Selection: Choose suitable materials for your model. Consult with the model maker about the best options.
• Production Technology: Determine which technologies will be used (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, etc.) and prepare for the necessary assistance in their use.
• Documentation: Prepare documentation such as drawings, sketches, or digital models that will be used in production.
