Preparation course for entrance exams
The course is intended for all those interested in studying architecture and focuses on artistic preparation for the entrance talent exams at the Institute of Architecture FAST. The course content is aimed at drawing preparation, covering the requirements for candidates during the talent exams.
The course is organized by the Institute of Architecture and takes place in its art studios in building E2 of the Faculty of Civil Engineering on Veveří Street in Brno. This provides applicants not only with an opportunity to prepare thoroughly for the exams but also to familiarize themselves with their potential study environment.
The course lasts 10 weeks, with the final lesson one week before the exams.
This year’s Preparation Course I takes place with a new 4-hour schedule every Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The capacity of each class is 20 participants.
The teaching is divided into four-hour blocks, structured to help applicants gradually acquire the drawing skills needed for the entrance exams. From basic surface handling to proportional and perspective accuracy, to spatial modeling. The course also covers the human figure, its proportions, and morphology, with students practicing drawing from a live model. At the end of the course, attention is given to project and design drawing, where students will try designing interiors, drawing textures of natural materials, architectural study drawings, etc.
Intensive Preparation Course for Entrance Exams
