Design Studio of Fine Arts
The education in fine arts has traditionally been associated with the training of future architects. At the Department of Architecture, FAST, the aim is to equip students not only with artistic, craft, and technological skills crucial for their future profession but also to develop their creative thinking, aesthetic perception, and conceptualization abilities. An essential aspect of the education is to foster a relationship between students and fine arts as an inseparable part of architectural development, both historically and in the current contemporary context.
The fine arts education is divided into six semesters. The content of the exercises includes drawing, modeling, working with color, structural modeling with paper, and also theory and practice related to art in public spaces. The mandatory fine arts education is complemented by elective courses such as Architectural Drawing and Modeling and Creative Plenary.
